Okay, so. Pretty much I'm done with finals, and today we successfully moved my grandmother into her new living space. So to celebrate, I finished up this weird as all get-out picture I had sitting in my WIP folder.
It's, um, hard to explain, but basically a few months ago I was being all pretentious and metaphorical and allegorical and decided to draw these weird super-symbolical pictures of the Silver Beat lads. And then I colored this one.
So. Saul--the Prince, the Buck, the Fool.
Obviously this is not a fair representation of what he wears on a regular basis.
The symbolic stuff becomes irredeemably stupid if I try to explain it. Honestly, the whole piece is somewhat irredeemably stupid, but it has a certain je ne sais quois that compelled me to finish it up. Might try to finish the others, as well. They are equally ridiculous.
The quote scribbled on the image is from a passage I wrote a while ago for inclusion in a later story.
Oh, and I think the hand-holding-heart imagery was inspired by a piece by ~otherwise
p.s. now months later I hate his calves augh why did I make them so stick-like. This is what happens when you put off coloring an image.
8( Nothing with antlers can every be in the category of stupid. THE WOLFY HAS SPOKEN.
I think it's a very interesting piece! I also find it's kind of cool that he's barefoot. Congrats on finishing your finals and getting your gramma moved in!

In this article I will provide you some ideas how you can build your own homestudio for considerably cheaper price than it would cost to use "official" studio gear. I will also show you few examples where I have used the gear I describe during this article.
Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.

You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

Well, almost nothing. It's incredibly goofy but IT SURE WAS FUN. And yes Saul is clearly enjoying himself to the full here.
